Our History
The inception of UAP Cavite Tierra Alta Chapter can be traced back to a compelling desire to connect with inactive upland architects in the region. The geographical challenge posed by the location of UAP Cavite Headquarters had long deterred upland architects from active participation in chapter activities.
With a significant number of upland architects in Cavite and the invaluable backing of UAP Cavite's Past Presidents, the aspiration to establish a new chapter gained momentum. The seeds of this idea were sown in June 2021, under the guidance of the visionary leaders, PP Dondon and Elda Olegario.
A pivotal meeting took place at Dulo Cafe in Imus, Cavite, attended by architects Shervin Peji, Michael Dax Mojica, Christine Mariz Costa, Paula, and Gabriel Parra. The gathering opened with PP Don and Elda outlining their vision for the new chapter, and the architects present that evening eagerly embraced the challenge.
Thanks to the invaluable guidance of IPP Martin Almeda and IPDD Jimmy Hermogenes, as well as the unwavering support of upland architects, the proposed chapter received endorsement from the National Board of Directors (NBD).
